More
Photos Dakota has demonstrated his ability to sire outstanding foals, passing along his many qualities to his offspring, from his refined head to his beautiful flowing movements to his generous and willing disposition. His offspring have all made First Premium or Premium Premier scoring as high as a "9" for movement proving to be a great sire of NorthAmerican Sportponies. Majestic Dakota always improves on the mares and his foals are leggy and have big floating movements in addition to irresistible personalities. These ponies are not average! Dakota's offspring are proving to the world that they are versatile, highly trainable, and with a disposition to make it happen! In 2007, his foal took the NorthAmerican Sportpony Site Champion and Reserve Champion in the Hunter division. Paris Rendezvous, the site champion, scored 9 for movement went on to become the overall US National Champion in the $2000 A.S.P.R. foal futurity. The judges Sonja K Lowenfish and Judy J Doyle said they have only given four 9's in all their years of judging and that she was the perfect little package full of charisma.
Both
Dakota and his first two fillies were shown in Hunters,
Eventing, and Dressage. All three stood out at every
show and were always in the ribbons. As a four year
old, his first filly Tivio Montana, won Grand Champion
Hunter for the high point end of year awards in both
the Green Horse and Division One for Hunters, competing
against seasoned horses and ponies. Competing also
in dressage, she earned her Performance Award her first
year out along with four CDS pony awards for high
scoring ponies. Montana was 3rd overall in finals
for all-breed final year end awards in the United States
Dressage Federation and 11th overall in the 2007 High
Score Pony Awards for the California Dressage Society
with a score of 66.08.
His second filly, 3 year old Jazzy Jasmine, won year end reserve Champion in Green Hunters Division and also took several ribbons in dressage, placing fifth overall in the all-breed final awards standings in the USDF.
In 2008, at the
annual NorthAmerican Sportpony inspection held at Oak
Creek Ranch, Dakota's foals won Site Champion and
Reserve Champion in the Hunter Division. Dakota had six
foals inspected and four out of the six were honored
with Premium Premier scores: Majestic Playboy with an
8.5, Majestic Jakota with an 8.3, Majestic Romeo with an
8.3, and Lil' Rendezvous with an 8.1!
